Ok thank you. It's in good working order and runs as sweet as a nut. Just it hasn't got a cab on it and we have found another one with a cab on. Just don't want to let it go too cheap and then find out it was worth a fortuneIt really all depends what condition its in mechanically, depending if you're buying or selling and whether you want it like new or just a 5 gall overhaul. Getting parts for some of these older tractors can be costly especially if there's no pattern part and you have to go to Finnings, or get it imported from USA......or maybe even just not available.
You could ask a few folks on "The Link" facebook site if they would mind valuing for you based on half a dozen pics and a brief description of its condition.
@Fowler VF the difference in the d7 4T and 3T is the number of idlers am I right in thinking? my gaffer has a 17a hoping to do some ploughing with it this spring

I have seen proper box scrapers doing cut and cart in behind medium tractors in other countries, i just need to find one.Depends very much on what you are trying to do. Box scrapers behind wheeled tractors to level off a cultivated field, laser grading, is one thing. Still needs a pretty big tractor. True box work, cut and cart, is something else. Track machines are the only things that will really work, even the old motor scrapers on wheels usually had to have a dozer pushing up the back end to be able to fill.
