TB testing is the worry though . I stopped having in calf heifers as if you went down , you would be stuck calving them .Had some cattle in a few yrs ago. (Dry cows) charged £5 per head per week he supplied the fodder and straw and I supplied the shed, water and labour(feeding and bedding) .We kept the muck. They came in on 1st Nov and went end of March. It was a good job all round but I think it should really have been about £8 a head but at the time we were glad of the muck !
I'd say 35p sq ft is way too cheap. Try costing out putting up your own shed for that.

its also tax deductible, unlike the cost of a new shed, sounds like a great deal to me
Is someone paying that just for the use of shed?35p per square foot per day

I'll sell my cows and rent them some space if so!
It's 35p a square foot per winter, water is spring fed so no charge, electric also included, the building is around 25years old, but not well we'll set up for my opinion, it's clear spans it had a central feed passage 20foot wide, two 12 foot scrape passages and only 20 foot lying area, and it's 100 foot long, was only going to use it for younger stock, so hopefully will get 80-100 cattle in,
Hope this helps,
Between ten and fifteen quid a square foot I’d recon on fag packet maths.I'd say 35p sq ft is way too cheap. Try costing out putting up your own shed for that.
