Had the Bateman about 4 or 5 years and the oh likes it a lot as she operates it while I load the race. What’s the views on an IAE Saracen crush versus a Bateman Tamar manual squeeze
yes ,its got the hydraulic scoop.Good OH will be involved in working it here to Bateman slightly cheaper than IAE do you have a head scoop
That,s why i went for the Bateman, fits a large lim bull in it, I would always advise to buy the crush that suits your stock. Also, depends on how much you want to spend, when i was looking for one i was blown away how much you could spend, 10k plus for some.I have an IAE Saracen. It’s ok I can’t really fault it. I wouldn’t say it’s the strongest a bit short for some of the bigger suckler cows but I can still manage with it. I bought it on price more than anything else around 2k with superscoop on offer
That was a good price £4700 now with head scoop and sliding rear gate Bateman Tamar £300 cheaperI have an IAE Saracen. It’s ok I can’t really fault it. I like the arrowquip but comes in over 6k for the cheapestThat,s why i went for the Bateman, fits a large lim bull in it, I would always advise to buy the crush that suits your stock. What put me off the Bateman was the weight nothing else. I could lift it where I struggled to lift the iaeThat,s why i went for the Bateman, fits a large lim bull in it, I would always advise to buy the crush that suits your stock. I got scoop free it was £600 ish at the time. There was a new model came out mine is the older one that’s why it was on offer. That was a good price £4700 now with head scoop and sliding rear gate Bateman Tamar £300 cheaper
You ll get 1 cheaper than thatI like the arrowquip but comes in over 6k for the cheapest
It’s limi x we have they aren’t small but with under 30 head can’t justify extra 2k still waiting for a quote for a Ritchie
That's not entirely true because would they of given you the head scoop if you didn't buy the crush. The Tamar head gear is great on our mobile bateman we have also just had a Richie static crush which is disappointing compared to Bateman. We bought the Richie because the weigh cells were an integral part as opposed to being bolted to concreteI got scoop free it was £600 ish at the time. Ok I buy a £4700 crush for £2000 with a superscoop included. Sell crush for £2000 does that mean I have to give superscoop away in your reckoning? That's not entirely true because would they of given you the head scoop if you didn't buy the crush. The Tamar head gear is great on our mobile bateman we have also just had a Richie static crush which is disappointing compared to Bateman. We bought the Richie because the weigh cells were an integral part as opposed to being bolted to concrete
I did the deal at Rickerbys. I already bought the crush at £2000 which they delivered at that. After I had ordered it they said there was a free scoop in at that price. No my reckoning was the crush was £4700 which included a head scoop anyway I'm not a troll and don't ever want to become one.what I was saying was the Bateman is good
Just make sure it’s a squeeze and not a variable width.
For an 8600 with head scoop was quoted £6100 what price were you thinkingYou ll get 1 cheaper than that
