Cattle Dehorner

Does anyone have any advice which is the best Dehorner for dehorning Cattle. I have four to do that were missed. I have been looking at an electric grinder type one. Does anyone have any recomendations

What age are the 4 ? If horns are big enough use wire ...its made for horns cutting etc

Will be a year old, horns are about inch in diameter

Wire is your best bet. I think they'll be a bit big for scoops...... and they'll need a lot of cauterising.

Hard and fast with the wire and you might get away without having to cauterise it. Get someone with gloves to support the horn as you finish the cut.
