Over 500 in Salisbury today. Very happy with what I sold - 13 month AA dairy bred steers bought in as milk calves £740.

Quietly hopeful considering the lift in the finished price. I’m not expecting Northern prices though!
They have 460 cattle entered tomorrow so hopefully plenty of buyers in.

Could well be- plenty of big suckler herds on Salisbury plain.
It’s not always obvious who the buyer is though as the name isn’t always called out and it’s not put on the ticket.

Heifers at £915 were 442kg
Heifers at £790 were 385kg
No weights for the steers, the technology was playing up at times.
