Hmmm. maybe not so perfect the cattle hurdle pins are a bit bigger than the stock items in the link above. Will try them tomorrow but any other suppliers anyone?

the widness slot on DC is only 16mm wide

Get @Fraserb to plasma cut some since his is up your way

Thanks for the mention, I've done a few before for people and for the standard ones I can't compete with the mass produced ones on price. If someone needs non standard ones then I'm better priced.

Thanks all Iae or Bateman etc. may sell them separately but they're not listed. Don't think anyone including @Fraserb would compete with the first link at £0.50 each but not wide enough. Will also try agriparts tomorrow know he has weld on crooks etc. but not noticed the lugs before. Will also try the local blacksmith he has a metalworker not sure if it's big enough for this job though.

edit. Also some listed on ebay now never thought to look there.

I have bought heavy chain and welded a single link on - any marine chandler should be able to source

i could get some cut @ around 50p but price keeps moving so might be more for laser cut
and tend to order any thing from 500 off

For DIY pig hurdles we use short lengths of appropriately sized box section or tube. Would that be too weak for cattle?

Not sure but the pins are 20mm. and standard hurdles have 50mm box ends.
Some on ebay are 75mm x 50mm 8mm thick with 38mm x 22mm slot
