how thick are you boards silverfox ?
we tried fencing round our cattle yard like that but with some bad mood charolais, it was gone in one night.
Never seen cattle so destructive as charlys
Cant beat square crash barrier posts and then normal crash barriers.
for a nicer look we painted them.

The boards are 1.5ins x 9ins. For years we’ve only had a sheep netting type fence only there , with one rail and a strand of barb, so this is an upgrade . That was ok for the dairy heifers we used to rear and the cattle we’ve had since, but never had suckler bred or limmys on the farm . When we bed down, we always let cattle out on the yard from an early age, so they get used to being handled quietly .
We’ve put sheep netting on since the pictures, as the yard holds sheep in the winter .
