What would be a fair rate to house, feed hay and haylage but no concentrate and provide bedding. I would check them daily. We are pricing putting up a new shed and handling system.
Guys round here doing 650kg dry suckler cow with silage and bedding for £8.50 a week. Not sure if the silage is adlib but ment to be enough to keep condition ok for calving in the spring. Not sure if I would be in a rush to build a new shed at that kind of money!
