only 2 or 3 months late, you ignored the warning, what did you expect ? If every body did that did that, the whole system would crumble, it might have it's faults, but it would be hard to improve. All in all, I think they do a good job, tracebility is what every one wants, it provides that. I really don't have a problem with them refusing pass ports, and I would think you have learn't a lesson.

Yes we've learnt our lesson, it's easier to be fraudulent than honest!!
No in all seriousness I know we were in the wrong but these mistakes can and do happen, we were quite prepared to speak to someone at BCMS but decided to try putting it through the website first. We were just annoyed and disappointed that there wasn't any dialogue with them over taking DNA samples etc. Particularly frustrating when they do it for people with 9mth old stock and not ours missed by a month or so, calf was 2-3mths old when we realised our error.
