Cattle sticks / paddles

You’re not supposed to use that for sticks under farm assurance. Want something long with a paddle to put behind calves in the race - they don’t pay attention to a normal stick.

The kayak paddle is a good call though.

The stock paddles have a rattle in them. See above link.

Bl**dy RT nonsense. Been using alkathene ever since here, big advance when it went blue, much easier to see where you put your stick down than the black.

You can use blue alkathene, you’re just not supposed to hit them with it. A bit of light blue pipe waving in their ‘flight zone’ (is that a term that the RT wazzocks will like?) is fine.

I saw I video recently from AHDB about cattle handling and the handlers where using what looked like flags on a stick like beaters use. I’ll try and find the link
