Cattle v fence!

Wondering if there is a product available to discourage cattle from scratching themselves on the top of timber fence posts (post and rail fence)!?
They all are appropriately dosed etc before anyone asks!, electric is not really an option as its the fence around the garden and I don't want to risk it with kids about (our own are well enough clued in but don't want to risk it with other folks kids being about).
Think it's the kids causing the problem really!, as when they are out the cattle are up watching them and decided on a good oul scratch while watching!
Not sure if there is a solution but I figured if there is this will be the place that might know of it!!? Any thoughts...

How powerful electric fence are you talking? Kids will rarely touch it twice.. 🤪 If you stand it off like this pic kids would struggle to reach it and certainly couldn't get trapped against it...

cheers everyone, electric is looking like it is hard to beat! I have it on extended insulators alright and turn off power when kids are about after one did give himself a crack!, but there are days ye just forget!, @farmerm any link to supplier of insulators in your pic, I have never been able to source them that length?, had considered making a 2-3ft long bracket and just attaching a standard insulator to it so might revisit that idea if needs be

trying to avoid second run of posts, I do run strimmer and mower down field side of fence and it would be awkward enough to work around a second fence line.

ahh well at least I can content myself that there is nothing handier about before I put a bit more effort into working something with the electric!
