If you can't see the intent behind his posts I'd suggest you're naive
Sometimes as a community farmers really don’t help themselves. Both face to face with the public and over the internet.

I feel that given the nature of their responses so far the balance of probably lies in favour of honest enquiry. Give reasoned and honest answers to the questions and even if there is malicious intent from them where would it lead them?

Well I don’t know for certain of course, but honest and courteous replies were never enough though were they? We had honest and courteous replies and next thing we were drawn into the use up question, probably in the hope somebody would incriminate themselves out of ignorance or otherwise.
All it would need is one member on here to say they had applied chlorothalonil at T3 (which nobody has) and bingo, next day it’s in the guardian and that farmer member is facing a court case.
I’d be extremely wary of this sort of thread and also the regular HSE threads which I suspect are mainly intended to “draw fire”.

I’m following @Kidds advice as nothing positive is going to happen on this thread now.

Dear @JJSpringers could I suggest you now leave this thread. Your question has been answered and all replies from now on are going to be farmers throwing insults at each other and at you.
Hopefully you are happy with the replies and assurance you and your dogs will be fine. Best wishes and I will be following my own advice shortly. Rarely does anything constructive come from a thread once it reaches its 4th page (often well before that)

Have you tried filling them in?

With a slurry tanker?

Filled with fairly sloppy concrete?

I am really sorry that some people think that I am not genuine. I am. I was also bloody scared because I have never been in this situation before and wanted some reassurance. I googled and found out more about what had been sprayed next to me quite quickly after speaking with the sprayer. That is also how I came across the very recent banning of another fungicide. And yes I joined the forum solely to ask this question because I thought you were the best people to ask.

I will leave the thread now as it has taken a bizarre turn. Several posters on here have been really very helpful and I thank you very much for your reassurances.

Do you not remember the post from a very new one time farcical member asking about badgers on their lawn? Perhaps you didn't see it?
I'm not suggesting this is in the same category but JJ has gone on a bit for my liking.
I'm sure if he took 2 paracetomal he would feel a lot better. Placebo effect!
I wonder if he has a footpath through his small holding?
I stop spraying at safe distance for walkers.

This place is frequented with all kinds of people.

When their first post is do you think this badger I found has lead poisoning, farmer sprayed a field and now my roses are overtaking my garden or can I come and film your farm for a food documentary or some other stunt I get suspicious fast.
