That's a bit disappointing for people who would benifit and also farmers who could be growing the crop, is the NZ gov not up to speed on this or are they just restrictive in outlook.

You can be prescribed sativex which is a spray that contains some sort of extract from cannabis?
I think there’s lots of criteria to meet in order to get it but we have patients on it

mrs mtx, I do order extracts from cannabis not so often, but when I do, always visit this online shop for that purposes ( https://weedzy.co.uk/ ) cause they have fantastic options to choose from, one of the best fastest delivery services and one of the lowest prices on the web, in my opinion.

Anyone on hear use CBD oil for it pain relief properties ? PM if you like ! Thinking of it for my dad for his arthritis
Hi I tried CBD sweets for pain relief and found them only slightly beneficial, but in my research i did find some real help after quite a lot of research, i found that MSM (Methyl Sulfon methane) basically sulphur, works, in fact it was so good at pain relief i recommended it to my mum who has arthritis, and she swears by it, I use it for back pain as i have several collapsed discs and spinal stenosis, My mum gets tablets from a health shop, but i buy powder and then i can increase or decrease my dose depending on the pain, the recomendation is, take increasing levels until the pain goes, then back off till it comes back then you have the dose needed, I usually take 2 heaped teaspoons which i dissolve in boiling water then add a bit of concentrated squash as it is quite bitter let it cool then swallow, also great for liver health skin hair and nails, also if you get a skin burn use some in solution to stop scarring, really works well for this as well. my maximum dose was 10 teaspoons over a day, but usually i take just 2 to 4 a day depending on pain levels. Hope this helps regards Peter

Look, if you have a genuine medical condition, and believe you may benefit from so-called 'medicinal cannabis' you should ask your GP about what they can prescribe you. These over the counter/website cannabis derived drugs are not comparable to the pharmaceutical grade material the NHS has made available for some patients. If you have chronic pain, believe me, the NHS has an entire arsenal of medicines for the management of that. Products derived from classes of drugs far far more potent than anything cannabis might offer you. It is worth noting that these drugs containing CBD are all heavily regulated and tightly controlled, just as you would find with other drugs of a similar nature. Critically though, the pharmaceutical CBD derived drugs are designed to minimise the amount of THC in them which is one of the compounds that causes the grief involved from cannabis consumption.

In any event the government has no plans to legalise the sale or consumption of regular cannabis so people thinking they will legalise the stuff on the back of CBD being used in medicine are on to a loser there.

Has anyone tried using Turmeric Paste for arthritis etc. It is reported for being very beneficial to some, and is easily made in your house?

Is it not available/legalized in NZ..?
Available, but still a Crimes Act offence to possess or supply, yet

NZ gov't are a bunch of puppets at the moment but I can't see that changing.
Basically their standpoint is still that 1960's "it's a gateway drug" thing, but by keeping it prohibited that's actually aided drug abuse in this country.
(Police only really worry about cannabis if you're caught doing criminal stuff - if that makes sense?
Like, smashed behind the wheel or dealing the stuff. )
They've got far bigger fish to fry with methamphetamine, thanks to not moving on pot.
A fraction of a population will simply abuse substances, if you restrict substances then they abuse each other - this is not news!

Most people who want it, get it, whether they grow it in a garden (with plastic flowers all over it) or buy it somewhere.
I agree it's a massive catch to keep dropping, the climate here is great for growing weeds of all types; down here at 46.5°S it's ideal for hemp as the daylength/humidity/temperature means it rapidly flowers and can be harvested at low moisture, without needing irrigation.
And, it doesn't sh!t in the waterways either

CBD oil is the latest in a long line of Snake oil products which have been sold by scammers since th3 days of the Pharoahs .
research last year by The Times revealed the huge discrepancies in the products sold, to what was claimed on the label.
Many had less than 10% of that claimedand some even had zero CBD . Others had quite a content of THC making anyone in possession liable to a jail term.
It has been widely promoted by people whose primary concern is either as a back door entry to legalising cannabis or to make a vast profit on cheap veg oil in fused with some dubious materials.
if CBD had a fraction of its claimed benefit, the large manufacturers would have had product, of gauranteed strength with genuine benefits to the consumer. There has been widespread trials with very little evidence of medical gain , except in a miniscule number of people.
These rogue products normally emanating from back street operators are gulling people at best , poisoning them in the worst case.

I take Tumeric capsules and nothing else [ ibuprofen/diclofenac] for pains in my hip and the pain been gone for several weeks now,, worth a try

I use one that I buy online from The Canary Islands in Spain called Canalanza, and in all honesty it works great for my chronic pain, somedays more than others but generally speaking I feel great most days after starting to use it about a year and a half ago. Here is the link to their page, check them out and if you do choose to try it, if it works for you like it has for me you will be very happy with the results.

Yes, that is correct. Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of the most popular cannabinoids that has been widely researched and is being consumed today. It has shown to have a great range of therapeutic benefits from chronic main to mental health. It is important to buy good quality CBD however and I recommend Alphagreen for the best quality CBD as they are the leading CBD marketplace in Europe.

Yeah but getting prescriptions are super expensive not only because it involves trips to the doctor but just because there is still quite a bit of stigma around medical cannabis even so doctors don't prescribe it right away. The best option is to invest in CBD that's generally quite widely available. I started buying CBD for pain relief and haven't looked back since.

I have tried to take it to relieve endometriosis and fibromyalgia pain. I tried a brand called Love CBD which had good recommendations. They're online.

The oil has to dissolve under the tongue, but crickey dick it tastes like the old fags in an ash tray and silage effluent.

It was expensive, and I know I should perciveer but I struggle. I wonder if I should mix it with peppermint oil or something similar. Maybe artificial cake flavouring?

The company also does a CBD cream/balm. I wish I had bought that instead. Maybe that would work for your father's arthritis? I get sore hands and I bought compression gloves from ebay which help. They also act as a thin layer to keep hands cosy and this in itself helps pain.

I found it an overwhelming experience to research and purchase the oil. I don't know if I made the right choice.

I have heard you can buy water soluble drops to mix into juice, and CBD products.
I recently bought some cbd oil to help me with a few problems I'm dealing with. My question is, my work does random drug testing, does anyone know if cbd will give me a positive test for marijuana?
