CCTV kits

Hi All There is a new stand alone CCTV camera system that just needs the camera fixing and then the 12v adapter plugging in. It works through the mobile phone network and just needs an app downloading for you to view on your phone. Can also be used on 12v battery for 5 days on one charge.
Hi Frostystart, is this your business?

CCTV is used by every burglar in the Uk as they do not like it. Balaclavas tend to render it useless although you can recognise "locals" by their walk.
I prefer the noisy option with lots of light as per one of the first posts.
When you park a tractor in the yard park it up against an electric fence.
Motorcycle shops used to sell "Mines". They are a metal box with a blank shotgun cartridge inside and a string attached to fit on a door. Tends to have the effect of damaging eardrums so be careful when you go through that door.

Sounds very good, my only consideration would be EE coverage? We have dodgy phone signal here, and the data costs being accurate. I know there is the ability to send single photo's with a sim card, which is really cheap, but how is streaming a video affordable?

I'm struggling with my available options for the same problem. We have two farms about 10-15 minutes apart so the buildings where the farmhouse is isn't a major problem (plenty flood lights, kennels and up a long road) but our other one is next to the main road and we don't have the house so no wifi and no mobile signal. What's the best option get a professional company in?

Use a cctv camera that records direct to memory card. You only heed a 12v power supply, so battery, solar charger and a length of cable and your good to go.

Sounds good.
What if they get at it - all lost then ?
But I guess if no internet or mobile signal thats it ?

At the end of the day, if someone is determined - they will not give a rats about security anyway.

It does not say if power is available, as there could be other options open?

Please checkout my new outdoor 5x zoom 3g ptz camera, no setup, just fix plug in power and view on App. Will need EE signal and 12v power source though. See eBay search for 3g ptz camera. Fixed lens camera also on eBay now. Thanks Colin

Cctv is just a small part of security. Keeping the place tidy, fitting quality locks, closing gates, thorn hedge boundarys planted, good sensor lighting, make it difficult for a stranger to turn a vehicle around, all assist in putting thieves off. Inside workshops hide away decent power tools but leave out in sight clean broken power tools, fasten up trailers with heavy chain and strong locks.

Hi

I am intrigued here. You state:

We have developed a camera specifically designed to read number plates during the day and night which isn't affected by headlights.

When used in conjunction with a suitable HD TVI DVR recorder it can read plates up to 75 metres away. It's the 3rd generation of our number plate cameras and uses IR light rather than ambient white light. The camera effectively has a constant set of exposure settings and is geared towards the more reflective number plates / headlights. The reason it's able to read plate so far away is because of the powerful lens, up to 50mm.

May I ask what your website is please (probably best via PM unless you are a sponsor), and also what model camera you have developed?

This is damn true. But, I need a CCTV asap.
