Evening folks,
Wanting to order a set of tyres, tyre man says that the Ceat are better than the bkt what we had on last time. Basically anyone had any ceat tyres on and think there better than the bkt. We had a set of bkt on it last time and they have done 4000 hour of mainly road work so wondering wether to have same again or try something new. Not interested in top brands as it’s only a cheap tractor so sticking with the cheaper end of tyres as it’s only use to rake, cart silage and spray so not needing a lot of grip.
We had vredstein on a different tractor and don’t think a lot to them for the money so just sticking with the cheaper brands. The bkt hasn’t had a puncture, or let us down in the 5 year they have been on but never hurts to try a new brand.
Thanks
I'm getting the same sales pitch about wear on bkt. Will likely try ceat on rear soon. Had bkt on front and tried linglong a year ago on front. 480/65 24 a nice looking tyre and doing well. Quiet too. Keenest price of all. Just can't get a 600/65 34 linglong to match new fronts

Is the linglong importer not in fintona?

Just got a set of Bkts on 600/65 38’s 480/65 28’s we took Continentals off
The continentals have been ok really the fronts been a bit of a nuisance for punctures but they are worn well down and the tractor has a loader on
The interesting bit is the tyre fitter told me they fitted loads of continentals in the past they had issues cracking he was going round with the rep taking new ish sets of continentals off checking them then replacing them where needed.
Ceat is the new name for them they changed it because a lot of folks had bother and wouldn’t go back to them

Did you dream this nonsense up? Ceat has no connection to continental
