I've just done mine online but got quite annoyed about the prying nature of the questions. Its illegal if I don't tell them this stuff and they can fine me £1000 (yeah right). But why do they want to know so much personal detail? Is that legal to demand that under threat of legal action? I have nothing to hide so anyone I know could have filled it in for me but I found it far more intrusive than the last one I did. I think next time I would rather pay the £1000.

Do you have to answer all the questions?
The NZ one has a lot of prying stuff too but I think as long as you put the basic information, like who's at the address you can skip the rest.
I didn't get any come back on mine, so assumed it was good.

Most of those questions are not compulsory though they do want to know haw many special toilets to build.

Interested to know why Scotland postponed their census for 12 months "because of covid". Could it be that the SNP were concerned how many people classed themselves as British rather than Scottish with the Scottish elections just around the corner?

The thing that gets me is that if my parents who have been married, had children and run several businesses paying taxes not just for themselves but many others .. why should we bother paying taxes to a group of people who can't even be bothered to record who they are, how old they are and their general status as human beings ?

It's not rocket science to show some respect to tax payers.
