We had this problem with it first year we used it , went to put on the first dose of N and got a proper panick on . The crop was all twisted up and the buds were sort of gummed up and sticky ,it all looked like it was dying . After a few sleepless nights and a lot of head scratching we decided to carry as normal and see if it grew away from the problem which it did and went on to yield very well 1.8 t/ac iirc

To be honest I can’t remember of the top of my head what variety it was , I will look tomorrow. We still see some damage now but only in the sprayer overlaps . The year we had the big problem it was in a mix with fungicide but since then it’s only ever used on it’s own with a water conditioner .

In post#5 I asked variety. I almost put the word 'Elevation' but thought I would wait to see if you replied. I note from your field record the variety is Elevation. Interesting. I have seen four fields where the crop is Elevation and is just short and stunted - other varieties on same farm which received same treatments are growing away nicely.

Interesting. I have no answers by the way, other than patience.

In the first year of use the variety Charger was widely reported, though I saw the 'gumming' issue in a range of varieties.
