CFX /FM -750 Firmware v8.10?

Could someone please give a refresher on loading fields back on? I have done the update and hard reset. I got the configs back on by moving them onto the root of the usb where it could see them. But the fields are more messy with the client/farm/field/event folder structure. The backup left the usb as root/serial no/data/client/farm/field/event, but the display says no fields available to load. I have done it in the past, after having doctored the names of AB lines to make them easier to work with.
Is there an AgGPS folder in the files you copied as this is the folder that the CFX will be looking for? If your not sure of the correct folder structure, put a blank USB into CFX and go to export data. Even if no fields on there currently it will create the correct structure on USB

Thanks. That's done the trick. The AgGPS folder was there.

Not towards you in particular Richard, but I thought the update would make data management a little tidier. It seems that the event names are still retained after deleting coverage logging which is a bit daft. I still can't find a way to get rid of them whilst retaining the field. At least for this pre-season, I'll do some thinning on the usb.

Glad to hear it worked, I agree its a shame but that was the last Firmware up-date that will be available for the CFX as they are now using a common interface across all the new displays. (Precision-IQ) it is much easier to work with the data in this new platform and as its the same on all displays there is more going in to the development if it.

Regards

Is there any way to get fields to come up in number order? We have 3 farms and each farm for instance has a paddock 5, we have to name them A5, B5 and C5, the farms weren’t mapped in number order, have managed to download some of the fields to there online program where you can alter the boundary’s but no idea how to get that data back onto the 750.
Real shame that such an expensive piece of kit isn’t better, the patchwork we had before told you which field you were in and loaded the boundary up without spending ages searching for it, unfortunately it couldn’t cope with the amount of fields we had

I've been doing a lot of experimenting recently to get farms/fields in a preferred order. I found not loading the whole lot at once, but doing it farm by farm got them in a better order. No amount of renaming on the USB stick made any odds. In your case loading them field by field will be a pain, but could do your job.

To reload the fields, look for 'get fields from usb' in the data menu. Delete the existing ones first after double checking they're all on your usb.

That is such a simple but obvious thing to do! Will have to reset it anyway because it needs the firm ware sorting as I have the memory issue too, many thanks!
Also we could only have so many fields per farm has that been sorted now? We ended up creating 2 farm names for one farm to put the fields in we couldn’t fit
