Recently bought a second hand trailed chafer t3000 sprayer, but do not have an instruction book for it. Was wondering how you use the hydraulic pump? And wether anyone's got a book for it? Tia

What do you want to know about the pump? I have a Sentry trailed with a hydraulic centrifugal pump.

It needs a priority spool valve & a low pressure return to the tractor's back end sump. Mine doesn't have a case drain but has one spool valve for the entire machine then the switchgear in the cab.

It'll be a centifrugal pump, pto or hyd drive? Easier to fill with some head of water, though it will draw with a bit of buggerin on. Very simple, very effective, low maintenance, low power req. Connect water, start pump, direct to required destination. Simple. Ive had a 1986 T2000 from 94 to 08, then an E3000 and now E4000 for 3yrs apiece, all centifrugal pumps, none much bother, the T2 had an impeller and the E4 has been resealed, 8000ac/yr. Old Hardi 12m father insists on spraying beet with has a diaphragm pump that causes more headache, and it only does 300ac/yr!
