Chainsaws

I've had to drop a lot of larch that have succumbed to the dreaded P Ramorum.
A lot of them are in places that do not permit the use of tractors and other machinery for extraction.
They are not allowed to leave the farm without de barking.
I am thinking about investing in a chainsaw mill in order to reduce big blocks to sizes that can be handled by hand and atv.
Does anyone run one and have any suggestions about what to purchase?
These are what I am thinking about:

Very much paying for the name with that set up, I bought a cheap one off eBay for £85 at the time.

Item number 265001128732.

clamps onto the standard 42" bar on my 3120xp then with rails or a ladder will do exactly the same job.

made light work of the trunk shown below.

Fair point but not really much maintenance needed on a 2 stroke engine. I don't think you will see many battery saws lasting 30+ years either like you do with a husky 61 etc
I agree... bought my Husky 55 in 1996.. got through numerous bars and chains and still going strong.. managed to break the choke lever last week...available from the local dealer $8.00 !!!! as they say .. you pays your money and take your choice... mines Husky thanks !

One of the ones we had stolen was a 1990 husky 42. New ignition coil a couple of years ago but faultless otherwise. Lucky if we get £50 from the insurance which isn't going to go far to replace it

Ive an echo a great wee saw comes with 5 yr warranty for domestic use so just make sure you don't use business account to pay for it😉.
When I change I'm intending to go down the elec route probably Stihl, haven't heard good things about Makita

Do you like your Husky 555 I looked at one a while ago?
yeah its been a cracking saw, i just put an exhaust gasket on it the other week, think its 2012 and other than a few chains and a plug thats all its ever wanted. It starts to feel a heavyish lump when your swinging it around all day, but most of what i do with it is crosscutting bigger logs for firewood. But its the only saw i have and its ok for the smaller jobs too keep saying I'll maybe get a 15" chain and bar to try on it but I never get round to it. If it died tomorrow I'd certainly look at another.

62cc Petrol Chainsaw - 20” Bar & 2 x Chains + More https://amzn.eu/d/9AO5yhf anyone used one of these? Apparently the same 62cc engine as the Hyundai with the same size bar, any good? Can get it for about £110-£120 on their own website rather than Amazon.
I bet all the 62cc engines are from one Chinese company and then used in loads of different color casings .
Ebay has a dozen different names ,all 62cc with a 20 inch bar
