Bit of gutter with a magnet attached to tip the old oil away. Bodged gas bottle with fresh oil in, airline coupler welded on for pressure and a pipe for the outlet into hubs.

Do you have one of these? If it's not working well you can tighten the nuts for the rubber so it works better.

Anyone with any cheap gadjet or a simple solution to this messy job.I have a plunger type thing which sounds good but isnt?

err, I just screw in a threaded / hose tail fitting, with a short bit of hose on it, into the filler plug, move the wheel until it’s at the bottom of the hub & let it drain into a container

of course it is easier if the oil is hot, or you want to have a cup of tea or two while it is draining out

Draining is the easy bit ish its the re filling I have one of those plunger things which I use as a forced funnel fill up and push in the plunger but at about .5l a go and when a front axle needs perhaps 9l its a chew!!!!especially when the refill is the level plug on the axle

Small coke type bottle cut a square out of the side near the bottom and pour oil in through hole put the bottle neck in the filler. Done them in the field loads of times

Filling is the easy bit. Just stick the nozzle in the filler / level hole & pump till it’s full . . . 🤷‍♂️

it’s the draining the hubs that is the slow messy cûnt of a job if you’re not organised. You don’t want to let it run all over the rim / tyre / ground & make a mess

Or undo the drain plug at the bottom of the hub as I stupidly did there was back pressure and I got covered in gear oil 🤢🤢
