Just reading NFU mag, and there is a tribute in there.
I post this only because, despite his being a fairly well known figure in the sheep sector, I had not seen or heard anything elsewhere.
Sincere condolences to Mr Sercombe's family.

That's a shock.
Condolences to his wife and family.
Didn't know him well, only through buying a Lleyn tup from him many years ago.

He always had some grand sheep, whenever I bumped into him at county shows, subsequently.

He did a lot of work for the sheep world, in general, and I seem to remember going to a NSA event at his place, a nimber of years ago.

I brought a lovely, and very expensive char tup from him to put on pedigree char ewes one year, he covered a few of them and then my scraggy and not expensive char ram killed him.. fecking sheep!!

I would think there will be a lot of us there.

RIP Charles.
I sadly can’t make it but can imagine it will be highly attended. I know there’s no good time for it to have happen but it’s a rotten time for them with being busy selling tups .
