We still have a good selection of Charollais and Beltex x Charollais shearling rams for sale. Charollais are Signet recorded and we currently have the highest average index flock in the UK.

Forage reared and all would run a mile if you shook a feed bag at them. These rams will go on and improve, rather than melt away with use.

We sell on a price for the pick, with the price reducing as the selection drops. Currently at £400 for the pick.

Ten from that bunch averaged 500 gns at Welshpool sale last Thursday, mostly to repeat buyers that know what they will do, and grow into. They were presented as usual, run in from the field and lot numbers stamped on their backs. As I pointed out to one potential buyer, I could easily throw £200 worth of feed at them, so that they cost an extra £200, and then wouldn't serve as many ewes or last as long....

Still a few available.
