We have a small quantity of semen from Wedderburn Peleus (15WNY02086) for sale. Purchased jointly for 2000gns as a lamb, and now exported to Germany, he has been a hugely successful ram in all four flocks in the syndicate. Numerous progeny selling for 1000 gns+ and he was the top ranked Charollais in RamCompare in the year his semen was used. Semen has been exported to Canada, Norway, Ireland and NZ.
He himself was also Breed Champion at Cheshire show as a shearling.
He has bred many daughters that are breeding exceptionally well, including the highest index ram lambs in the breed for the last 2 years, as well as powerful sons such as Lowerye Rioja, pictured below (in last summer's drought).
He has consistently stamped his progeny, with strong well covered heads and huge growth rates. His scan weight ebv is still well within the top 5% of the breed and his overall index almost in the top 10% today.
