CHCnav autosteer and RTK base station

Hello

Does anyone have experience with CHCnav? I have opportunity to buy their NX510 SE for a good price but the brand is quite unknown even though the company has been around for a while. For the price their functions seem really good, they have RTK, headland turns etc.

Also if I'm going to buy this kit then I have to consider RTK signal also. I have possibility to purchase signal for 500€/year. For this price is it worth the hassle to consider setting up my own base station? I don't have any experience with them and what I have found it seems like it isn't that straightforward job to set it up yourself.

Setting up your own base station from scratch isn't super easy, but not impossible either. I guess it comes down to how much of a problem solving challenge you like. Like most things, it's not too difficult when you know how.

One of the challenges will be working out what the reciever chip is and what RTK corrections it will need.

The hardware to set up your own base station can be less than the cost of one years subscription.

Hello,

We are dealers for CHCNAV and FJDynamics.
The FJD kit has proven to be very popular.
CHCNAV is new to us but so far it's been very good, high quality and reliable.

Sorry I have come to this conversation so late and guess you are sorted now?

Feel free to get in touch if you would like any information.

Easier than you think - full process is documented here:

Cheaper than 500 euros, and once it's paid for, that's it, no subscriptions needed.

Hi,
CHCNAV isn’t the same as FJD or SVEA.
FJD owns SVEA and now has the AT2
System out which is pretty much the same as SVEA f100 kit but it has all the advanced functions unlocked already.
We sell the FJD AT1 (Twin antenna system) for £4995
FJD AT2 (Single antenna system same as SVEA) for £5399

CHCNAV is in stock and available for £5995 so cheaper than the AT2 when you consider it has a camera included and Uturn as standard.

Who is your CHCNAV dealer near you?

Had a message from SVEA today out of the blue, F100, ADVANCED Mode, run on EGNOS with delivery from Sweden and tax all in £5178.
Thought it was a scam. Are these systems really worth the money or just a throw away item when they go wrong

That’s the problem with SVEA and to some degree FJD
They use a scatter gun approach to selling with their aim to sell as many systems as possible just to get the sales with little to no backup when things go wrong.

We have been FJD dealers for two years now and see so many new dealers come and go with their approach to direct sales rather than helping those dealers out.
We have had a much better working relationship with CHCNAV and really like how the system is performing.

Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you would like any more information.
Take a look at George Saunders YouTube where he tries our CHCNAV system out. 👍

Is any one using one of these systems in the south / south west as I would like to see one working.
I want to put it on a Househam sprayer and interested how well they lock on to a new turn in.

Hi, where in South West?
We have a customer who will receive theirs next week.
Can you send me a WhatsApp and I can see if we can’t help anymore. 👍

Why would you buy directly? Little to no backup and you will need it.
Best to go through a dealer
The deal they sent through was over £2k cheaper, and if they qualify for a grant its very cheap. They look the simplest set up and very few components so if it lasts 4 or 5 years then not so bad. A mate got stung for a tidy bit of VAT on some hunting equipment some years back when buying direct, didn't make it cheap then
