Cheap cattle/calves shed

Ive got this very old and battered outbuilding. I was thinking of putting a roof on it an use it as a cattle shed. What would be the cheapest way of doing it? Its about 40x16ft could you use planings as a shed livestock floor?

All ready tried. Got planning on other outbuildings though

It’s a lovely looking building never can understand planners turning down stuff like that

Is have thought easiest way would just be bang a steel roof on it on the original walls if they strong enough be a shame to do it and the thing falls over

We use 2 inch to dust wackered in

Works well aslong as your careful mucking out but looking at that shed be a barrow and fork job so wouldn’t be an issue

If you roof it, use it as an ‘Ag’ building for a few years, you will stand a better chance of planning then aswell. They won’t grant planning on anything without a roof around here
