Cheap hp or not.

Probably a reason it’s cheap by the time you’ve replaced a track or two and had the gearbox overhauled it’s no longer cheap. Neighbour runs two quadtracks He loves them as unlike two track tractors you can turn under load away from a wet patch. My challengers will steer you into the wet as they loose traction on the wetter ground. He’s had plenty of issues thou. Mainly with the undercarriage. Once the lugs start tearing off the tracks they are done.

I’ve had wheeled high horsepower tractors and they were cheap to run as far as maintenance goes. Tracks are great in the field for floatation and traction a well as a smooth ride but I’ve spent more on tracks and maintain the undercarriage than I spent in the entire life of my 400 hp article versatile. She only left the farm as it was killing my back. Fir an out and out pulling beast the quad track is hard to beat but that comes at a price on a regular basis.

No thoughts on the quad but can highly recommend the dealer .
Superb family firm and very honest

This thread made me have another look at their website, a few things I’d like so I’ll have to keep away from them for a while

Bought a trailer from them in the spring. Good guys to deal with
