I think theres perhaps been something lost in translation.

Either it's a very compact tractor for 200hp or it's actually 200 donkey power, which by the looks of the front axle, disproportionately small back tyres and general appearance would convert to about 70 horses.

TFF spoke (asking for cheap, basic horsepower) and the Peoples Republic have delivered.

Apart from the dinky tyres, it doesn't look too bad really. Too bad it'll be made out of chocolate.

They are making real inroads on construction equipment now, ag may be next.

To be fair, I've spoken to an awful lot of farmers that are wavering over the CF Moto quads these days, and their sales certainly appear to have taken off despite concerns on the Chinesium build. Seriously tempted myself, depending on local backup.
They look very much like they've taken an old model CanAm, stripped it down, then made a copy at two thirds of the price. :censored:

The lad that fixes my bikes had one in getting fixed when I made a joke about the thing he said that they are surprisingly good. He doesn’t usually dress things up to be something they are not and steers me away from problematic stuff because he has to keep it running

CF Moto have made a real name for themselves here, partly from quads & side by sides, but largely due to their road going motorcycles.

Quite innovative in some of their thinking, doing their own designs & rivalling Japanese / Euro quality

I think the problem is there’s been a lot of Chinese copied generators and bikes appeared in the past that have just been crap. We’ve had some they are usually Honda copies or copies of something else
When they turn up with something decent it’s normal to be dubious.
Honda or Suzuki which are the most popular here are near 10k for a new basic 420/400 quad bike I’m assuming the CF is cheaper

we’re at goodwood the other week and probably 80% of the new car launches were Chinese. Think there were 6 huge stands there for Chinese companies I’d never heard of. Everything from rolls Royce copies to supercars and normal road cars.
I’d dare bet the quality will be as good if not better than anything we’ve been used to. Next 5 years the market will be swamped with Chinese cars

Apparently they can copy anything they can make anything to any standard you want from the best to the worst. We have the view that it’s all crap as it stands because that’s what we’ve seen from them up to now
