checking boost pressure on Ford 7610

hi, I'm looking to check the boost on my 7610, I've removed the blanking plug in the test port, but from what i can tell the plug size is 3/8 with a 28 tpi thread, unless its m10 with 0.9 thread, but due to its age I imagine it was not intended to be metric. So does anyone know for definite the correct thread size, and where I can get a suitable adapter to connect a boost gauge into the port.cant seem to find the above 3/8 with 28 pitch thread
Thanks in advance

Do you know what pressure should be.if you're down on power have you had injectors checked.realy with the old turbo they either work or don't.they tend to leak oil making the engine smoke.but it's Ford so it's hard to know the difference.the only way to stop them smoking is stop the engine

Forgot about the manual, it should have 15psi or 1 bar, so i am only getting half what I should be getting. Manual gives 36 possible reasons, its just had new oil and filters so shouldn't be that, not sure the bolts will undo if I try to remove it, so will try cleaning the oil pipes. And check if that lets it running more smoothly. Beginning to think I should have paid a bit more and got something newer. Nostalgia obviously kicked in :(
