Cheffins Monday

Morning all,

Is anybody heading up to Cheffins on either Sunday or Monday?

There is a 7710 I am interested in but can't get away. Just somebody who can check it starts runs and drives nothing more.

Could chip in on some fuel or something if it helps.

Thanks

Ring Cheffins. They will appraised it for you

Will they give much info, there is a machine we are half interested in but unlikely to get there. What is the format once you have bid and won? In terms of paying fetching the machine etc it’s a long way to go to find out we have bought a pile of rust 🙈

Fair comment about taking your chances but if its not even in the yard and you can't even get a picture of it thats some risk. Ive bought plenty off them in the past but viewed it first.

They need to sort it out getting photos of lots. At least ask for a photo when the seller submits the lot so you have a basic idea. Machine that has no photo and rolls up at 6.00pm on the Sunday night wreaks of being a dog and basically trying to keep it out of viewing as long as possible before auction starts. Not a lot to ask to pay 18K plus

Or the less cynical view is that a lot of tractors come from Ireland. Dealer brings them over Sunday. Sleeps over and takes a load home Monday
