And feed beans only, not those that eat humans.

@Green oak 's EAMU says field beans, not specifying wherther they are human consumption or not??

I've just done a search of EAMUs and came up with nothing.

On label approvals for CTL in field beans came up with this;

thats what im getting at 1000 lcontains at best 150 l of dry pure manganese sulphate product which on a w/w basis works out at under £100, that is of course if ive got my sums right cos it could be on a w/volume basis or using a lower grade manganese sulphate base which would make it even less. what we need to know is at what application rate how much in kg of 100% manganese sulphate is being applied /ha that is of course assuming the mang source is manganese sulphate

No one is disputing powder is much cheaper, but I thought it went out of favour in the 80's round here for the reasons given previously. And yes most is MnSO4

Who cares if powder is cheaper? If you can get a litre of it into the plant for 45 pence/ha as a maintenance dose with minimal hassle then that's good enough for me. Beware of getting it on your skin - it's quite toxic if enough is absorbed.

I care. if I can reduce costs in any way without reducing efficacy im all for it even if I have a bit more work £ 350 /ipc is better in my pocket, bit like melting out of spec fert, my time spent messing around is a much cheaper cost than trying to earn the difference in profit so I can pay the bills if you see what I mean
