Bit harsh , FMP isn't one size fits all , but if it highlights the serv agros that are shafting customers then it's done a good job... onwards and upwards .
Original comment was supposed to be a joke, but clearly hit a nerve.
I walk my own crops so I am probably the exact customer Clive is aiming at. As I said, if the minimum order is feasible and price is correct I will buy (liberator will be a prime example) however, I don't need a tonne of slug pellets.

The suppliers need to tailor their prices then , after all it's in the warehouse.

Seems odd that at full doses Liberator is about £30/ha and Crystal nearly £50/ha.

Is the broader spectrum weed control from the pendimethalin really worth £20/ha? I think Bayer are playing a good one here - sell the flufenacet to BASF then undercut them, helped by the paralells/generics...

I'm not so sure. I would suggest it is more to do with Basf not shifting their pricing strategy. After all, Basf could buy flufenacet off any old generic firm now.

Our trials have shown Crystal becoming better than Liberator, maybe BASF latched onto that and decided to take advantage? Not sure what the price difference would be between Crystal and a FFCT + PDM tank mix though.
