After the CTL we had on Farm Marketplace last year at £3.70 we having been asking vendors who have stock sitting on shelves and want it moved, if they are willing to cut prices out of season for farmers who have cash flow and are willing to buy ahead. Depends on brand, 5 kg Sluxx = 7 kg Derex in terms of baiting points........5 kg at £2.70 cheaper per ha than 7 kg at £2.49 plus Sluxx is wet process so could argue better value for money

Good point - I should actually know what brand it is on FMP. Thought it was sluxx, but can't be at that price (we never beat @Brisel for buying!) hence my surprise. Glad I asked for updates today to remind me.

You sure that's right? Ferric is only £2.49 on Farm Marketplace at the moment.

Sluxx is Agriii exclusive I think ?? Although loybof exclusive products often end up being supplied via groups etc

More baiting points with sluxx but from experience of using Derrex and sluxx I think they are both a as good as each other

Thank you - you beat me to the explanation.

Sluxx is available widely. Most of the majors have it. I've had it delivered by 2 including Agrii. Same price at the other.

FMP does get stuff cheaper than me regularly :)

Saw a press release recently saying BASF had acquired some of Bayer's business and would now be marketing Deter seed treatment.

For a bit, at least :scratchhead:

I think they had to as part of the Bayer purchase of Monsanto. Switch switcharoo. So you may see the same names in different packaging fairly soon. Oh and Dow and Dupont have merged to become Corteva.
