Morning fluroxpyr shortage is genuine, technical required to make it,has been short for manufactures, I am reliably informed. Volume available very limited for this season. It's not a brexit
issue as majority made outside EU.
Similar to epoxiconazole then, precursor chemicals hiked in price so mainly available in formulated mixes now (more profit in these).

It's funny how the government and chemical industry appear to be working alongside each other....for polar opposite aims.

The government are out to get rid of as many chemicals as possible as they are "bad".
The chemical companies are out to make as much profit as possible on the back of these bans and thus hiking prices and recycling other chemistry which will end up developing resistance even quicker than previously as more reliance is placed upon them, meaning chem usage will increase.

Does make you wonder where it will all end...!

You would have to buy a pallet to get that price. You might also find that West Wales is like Devon and Cornwall and subject to delivery surcharge on FMP

Not if you spend enough ? @Clive

No - I believe delivery is inc in the price form that vendor

A lot has changed (evolved) with TFF Farm Marketplace in the 18 months its been running, much more availability and delivery especially on ag chems which were initially quite restricted due to politics etc. Distribution now seems to be much more acceptant of this new way farmers are buying and have stopped fighting it and in many case got involved themselves

I'm trying to work out what product costs what in a box pack containing 1x5L Alto Elite and 2x5L Elatus Plus.
I know what I'm paying per box obviously. But need the £ per litre per product so I can correctly charge a neighbour on a share agreement. I'm told they can't be purchased separately which isn't very helpful. Closest (fairly) similar products I can find are Cherokee and Ceratavo Plus both of which I have never used, but should I guess be fairly similar in price. Can anyone help?

Yeah but surely you applied say half a litre of alto elite and 1 lit of elatus per ha. ie in the same ratios as they came in the box (i know we don't always but thats the intention) so you can just work out how many ha out of the box?

Alto Elite is around £50 / 5 litres this spring. I used Ceratavo Plus (5l) which came in a box Daconil (10l) last spring. Box price was £254.65, so I priced the Ceratavo Plus at £200 / 5l and the Daconil (Bravo - CTL) at £54.65 which I thought was realistic based on the generic CTL prices at the time.

Hope this helps
