I payed £132 for a pack of Broadway star.

think Farm Compare provides better answers than this thread now as the anonymity allows sources to be shared and prices backed up rather than made up !

Yes, although without prices on here how do serial Boogie xpro buyers know how much they could save by leaving the Dark Side?
Tbh I've not done a search on farm compare. I just send a few invoices in.
Why would anybody post made up prices, all the prices that have been posted on this thread seem to bethere or there abouts for serviced and none serviced?think Farm Compare provides better answers than this thread now as the anonymity allows sources to be shared and prices backed up rather than made up !

Palio 131.Palio £129 and axial £169 one pack of each.
axial for ryegrass here.
I’ve used farmcompare and it was good to compare last years prices against what I paid. The issue is it’s not this seasons stuff yet so it’s a bit out of date. What it has done is made be look harder.the Boogie buyers can use Farm Compare - possibly they stand to gain the most from such tools !
if they submit all their invoices it can tell them over the year how much OTT they maybe paying vs other serviced suppliers or vs going independent etc
likewise a buying group member can see how their buying group compares to other buying groups
you never know it may even tell some that serviced is better than their independent !!
no secret squirrel rubbish anymore - that’s why we have built it
I found that when enquiring here about a low price quoted it was actually bought and paid for the previous season, so not a true representation of the market. Why would anybody post made up prices, all the prices that have been posted on this thread seem to bethere or there abouts for serviced and none serviced?

but mostly a lot will not post openly WHERE they got a price as they think they get a “special” price in exchange for keeping quiet about it
Lol. Isn't it common knowledge that farmers are banded into tiers of markup for chem companies?
tip of the iceberg !
price transparency is the only way as farmers we will change things
I have never really understood it though. “Big” clients can be very time consuming and very fickle when it comes to moving. Also the loss of one big client can make hitting targets very difficult. I know of as many little farms who have become big as vice versa.Lol. Isn't it common knowledge that farmers are banded into tiers of markup for chem companies?
