Chemical Price Tracker

blimey thats nearly half what im paying if all my products are marked up to these levels in getting shafted bigtime

Thought I'd better check it due to the difference and that was 2012 price and not right now, as I've not bought any yet, so apologies for the confusion.

However I doubt biopower has gone up by much since I last bought some in June 12.

I know Agrii get slated on here, but as someone who only uses relatively small quantities,i find they are pretty good, sprays are always there when you need it,and they don't seem to charge more for small quantities.Service prices Adigor £59/10l Colstar £95/3l Axial £94/l Helix £188/5l.Helix is the same price it was 3 years ago.

Only problem with buying product seperate from agronomy comes if you have unused product you need to send back...I know of a grower with over well £25K's worth of unused product in his chemical store bought in last Autumn which he couldn't use and was unable to send back as bought through a buying group...:inpain:

do the chemical suppliers have different price bands for different customers like fuel companies do.if you ring up and get quoted but dont buy you move up the bands and get a bettet price if you just order you get shafted! (like me)gona have a chat with agrii agro next week, if you dont ask you dont get.

just out of curiosity what is going rate per acre for independent agronomy????

£4/ac.

I dont know how they price, but I would take a guess at them having their buy-in price for products, and then some kind of % multiplier for a) their margin and b) what they think they can get away with. Ask them for a rebate or you will leave them. See how much they will give you back. Show them some of the prices here and ask for the difference back.

Dont ask = dont get.
