Got a single 20litre drum of roundup bioactive gl, to burn a field of grass off. Got bill today £117.21 before vat. Does that sound about right or are agrovista taking advantage of a new customer ?

@deere150

Do you need or did you specifically ask for Roundup Bio active ? For burning off grass 4L - 5L hectare of generic glyphosate will do a good job at a fraction of the price at about £8-10 per hectare.

Do you believe all you are told, active is well tried and tested without the add ons I think and have found the straight works if used correctly
Regards Richard.

If used correctly. No offence, but life doesn't always allow the "correct use." Sure, I use generic costing a lot less than this but I keep cans of adjuvants like Companion Gold that mean I can spray when there are showers around or the breeze is a bit more than ideal if it the last spray day for a fortnight, usually at osr desiccation timing. The branded stuff has all the adjuvants that mean it sticks quicker & works a little faster. Sometimes a few quid more on the occasional job is worth it.

"breeze a bit more than ideal" - I like the phrase! ie blowing a hoolie
