I had a quote for £62/L for a pallet load a couple of months ago and thought it was too expensive, as I already had enough in stock for this autumn and it would have been a full years supply for me, but beginning to wonder if that was a silly decision.
I console myself with the thought that hopefully that pallet has gone to someone who's need was greater than mine. But when I need another 100l in Spring I may well regret that if prices stay where they are now.

And then there is Fert fortunately I did fill my liquid tanks at a reasonable price, but still need some more and goodness only knows when to buy the rest! Do I buy solid now or wait till Spring? I haven't asked since July, but I couldn't get a price for spring delivery at all then!

Grain prices are relatively high right now, but they need to stay at this level or rise to make the investment in growing anything like worthwhile in my opinion. I've got a field that at the moment is due to go a 3rd cereal, but could go into an early entry into AB15 as it is light and has a few grass weeds. It could go either way and that is despite the high prices.
I hope that was 62 for 20lts and not per litre as quoted.!!

There’s going to be some very low rates of roundup used this autumn (n)
I know. I have a field that's all but clean but has fairly concentrated areas of Brome emerging. I'm going to give it a sniff before sowing a cover crop. 1l or 2? I suppose the difference with my glyphosate at £3,10/l is only 1 quid something an acre.......

Bromes can be quite difficult to kill especially in concentrated patches.
