I change the diaphragm s every 18 months( 30000 acs) to avoid in field problems . The original white ones ( on a Bateman) are poor and go out of shape but the black replacement one s last better.
I have spare parts for the actual diaphragms ( springs and o rings) but very rare to get a problem even after 5 years( 100000 acs). Have half a dozen spare ones and quicker to change whole thing in field on rare occasion when one plays up. Funny enough had first one last week on 2.5 years old sprayer

If they have had any sort of chemical leek through them, strip them down clean them out and lubricate the o rings with Vaseline, good as new!
