Thinking of getting one of these before I embark on a programme of refurbs to various gutters and roof lights etc, I’m aware we shouldn’t really be using tele handler and man cage for planned work and it would mean I could crack on with jobs as and when rather than needing a driver to operate the loader.
DoI need a certificate to operate one myself on my own property doing my own jobs?
should it be tested like the telehandler and is it the same kind of test?

I'm guessing that as you are to be using it in a business setting then you will require to evidence training by a competent person ( trainer). Also it will be covered under LOLER regs so regular inspections and its good practice to document regular in use inspections and servicing intervals.....just in case!
I note you are in the SE so if you are looking for a second hand one try Liz at BPS ( Body plant Services)...just google them. She is well connected and can likely find something to suit.
Good Luck
