I have a lamb born last Tuesday. Went to put him outside the next day and noticed his breathing was rapid and noisy. Gave him a dose of metacam. Then later some antibiotics. He is lively and feeding and seems well in every other respect. I put him out to a small paddock. Still chesty. Gave him another metacam. Still no difference. He doesn’t appear to be struggling but nothing is clearing the chesty noise up. I’m not aware of him inhaling fluid at birth although always possible I guess. Is there anything else he could have to improve him?
