Chicken shed build thread

How many eggs/hour can that pack?
I'd think it averages around 15k an hour the way we use it. We just have one person on it and they can pack 36k eggs at 50 weeks in 2.5hrs.

If you get two people on it, one pulling out cracks and feathers and generally making sure everything runs smoothly for the other person, you could get 25k out of it easily, i've had spot rates of 37k according to the screen, but you can never maintain that for more than a few minutes before an egg cracks or something!

Its a great bit of kit, the robot could handle more output, it spends half its time waiting for eggs.

Rimmer group are £34k and cobot are 30k Euros.

Unfortunately 2 separate pack houses- expensive build and only getting more expensive!
Robot prices have come down then if thats any consolation!

Yes build costs are rising steeply but i'm not seeing any egg price increases on the horizon? Might act as a brake on expansion over the next 12 months.

@wellingtonfarmer I was on my own today so opened her out a bit, as you can see from the screen, it isnt going at full whack for a large amount of the time. The purple line is the nominal max capacity.

I read that somewhere that a Moba works at nearer its maximum capacity for more of the time as it doesnt need all 6 lanes to be full before progressing? Either way anything Moba is top quality.
