Chicory... again

Much is made of the anthelmintic value of chicory in a herbal ley. Does this efficacy carry over into a conserved feed with chicory in it?
I’m not sure about your question but we baled some last year where we would usually chop it into clamp. Because it wasn’t chopped it went like a load of old sticks similar to docks when the cattle had eaten the grass. In the clamp you can’t tell it’s there

Really, I was wondering if the anthelmintic value from chicory is supposed to be carried over into a conserved crop? Or do the stock need it freshly grazed?

survives most treatment i give it actually, then when its gone i chuck more seed in with the reseed... very very simple.no special mixes or
no need for sward lifters with that around. here.

its actually More to do with the genetics of our sheep here these days , quite a lot of that credit should go to the Exlana breeders.
