Children’s illustration competition to support soil biology monitoring (20th Aug - 1st Sept)

1st Prize – design will be used for the upcoming Autumn earthworm survey to inspire people to take photos of earthworms, and receive a signed copy of the book: Under Your Feet. 10 x runner-up prizes: copies of the book Under Your Feet. Hosted by the SRUC (Scotland’s Rural College) through support from the Dr E.M. Cruickshank Trust Fund.

Illustrate the photo frame which will inspire people to take photos of earthworms. The judging panel want to see creativity, imagination and functionality. We’ve listed some potential themes for inspiration: soil life, farm life, soil art and monochrome. The winning design will be put to good use for the upcoming Autumn 2021 earthworm survey.

Thanks for the excellent response to the competition, the quality of entries was superb. The judging panel has selected the winner/finalists and I've notified everyone by email so I can post out the prizes.
