Chin bull mating harness

Maybe my bulls where too small, but when in working position, their heads where 12 inches of the cows back. They would have been similar stature to the cows. Maybe a massive bull would have size to rub his chin on the cows back, he would also probably fold your jerseys up and leave them injured in a paddock also signalling a mating.

Yes I've got them.
Yes they work.
Don't use them anymore.

Didn't find them much use on maidens. The bull could keep his head out of the way somehow.

Worked fine on cows. The problem I found was having say an average of 10 a day bulling, it soon got confusing which were fresh marks and which were marks from previous day's.
So more and more time was spent working out what was what.

You could be what 30ish a day bulling? Super confusing.

I certainly hope not. These are entire Hereford sweeper bulls rather than vasectomised bulls.

Day 1-21 average 25 a day. Now day 30 something and serving 10-12 day. The bulls will go in on day 43 and I hope it will be no more than 5/6 a day.

I was thinking of running bulls in two groups with two different colours and swapping them each day.

I could just work on pd dates but never seem as accurate because I just do one big pd session in the autumn each year.
