I was due to to go the Classic Dirtbike show at Telford this weekend

Not a massive show, indoors and maybe 5000 folks, all over uk plus Europe (France/Spain/Germany/ Netherlands and Italy)

Missus reckons it's best avoided at present & I tend to agree, so will give it a miss this year and avoid large crowds etc

Behaviour change will defeat this virus

So as Chinese companies attempt to go back to work this week with quarantines supposedly over this is whats happened to one of them, and probably the same fate awaits many others!

Today, two days after China officially returned to work, we got the first confirmation of just how catastrophic Beijing's order to local enterprises and businesses to rush back reboot the economy could be, when Jennifer Zeng reported that a company in Suzhou reopened, and immediately at least one CoVid2019 case found. As a result, the company's 200+ employees couldn't go home and were immediately placed under quarantine. At least the workers managed to "organize" quilts for themselves.

Did 14hrs flight from Ho Chi Minh to Heathrow after my hols. Landed yesterday morning. At the end of the aircraft ramp, well before Passport Control, we were greeted by maybe two dozen Border Agency staff who questioned every single passenger about their travels. Some got taken away for further questioning. Our agencies are clearly taking things very seriously.

At least they are not herding the population into pits and bulldozing soil soil on top and burying them alive as they are doing with their pigs to stop the spread of swine virus, yet!

Did you cough on any border security staff to see what happens?

The bible bashers think "plague" virus will be apocalyptic and is part of the vial judgements, they may well be right, whether you think that's nonsense or not.
As Muck Spreader stated this nasty little virus is mutating very fast and could well go viral and bacterial which frankly doesn't bare thinking about!! 1 million deaths could be a gross underestimate.
There also seems to be a lot of seasonal flus and colds about this year which makes things even more difficult for those trying to contain the virus.

The Chinese government are in a awful quandary, if they push quarantined people to go back to work they are going to spread this virus like wildfire, if they don't get them back to work their economy and indeed the world economy will quickly be in very big trouble.

I did say could mutate. I think well over 20 labs worldwide have now sequenced this Genome from many patients and have shown them all to be similar, which would suggest no mutation has occurred yet. Fingers crossed.

Cleaning out a filing cabinet in the workshop I came across lots of pieces of bubblewrap that came wrapped around tools etc, a lot of them from Amazon. Decided I wasn't going to need them and spent several minutes happily popping until the thought crossed my mind that this could be Chinese bubblewrap including air. :(
