Friend remaped a tier 3 6490 to 250. Never done it no harm. Left with 9000 odd hours i think and was doin heavy enough work. Was no killin of her

Personally I say
Tier 2 don't bother
Tier 3 go for it

Had a tier 2 6495 which had a chip on it and never had a problem with it.

don't chip get a ecu off a 6499, one of ones I drove got one on while new one indifferent engine didn't make any difference

dont do it 6495 is a different tractor but i have plenty of parts if you do
