I’ve flailed the tramlines that get run down when spraying and it works ok.have to go in direction facing crop laying towards you.

Yep, chopped fine, but didn't spread more than the with of the topper, 8 ft.

Tried doing this today with a flail topper in wheat swaths. Complete waste of time as it doesn’t spread it enough.

Get it bales surely at prices quoted on here,not many more wheel marks if you are topping and possibly spreadig

I had a machine once that would chop and spread. It was a KV similar to a flail mower, but with an open/fluted back.
