Chrome or stainless exhaust?

Hi everyone,

Just attempting to research which of these types of exhaust is best, I'm trying to source an exhaust for a mates 6510 John Deere, I personally cannot stand bling so this is not my area of expertise, hence me asking the question. The little bit of research that I've done indicates there aint many exhausts about for a 6510SE, does anyone have any recommendations for companies along with a view on which metal/process is best. I'd heard stainless suffers from discolouration with heat, is this the case?

We put a stainless steel one on the JCB Fastrac in the summer as we got sick of the sh!t JCB sell as exhausts which fall apart every year, & one thing we did see was more hp from the tractor with the stainless steel full system on it & it all so sounds good.

Not too bothered about noise, as I won't be driving it. I knew if I said I was sourcing the exhaust for a mate it would raise suspicion but it genuinely is for a mate. I'm not a fan of pimp my ride, I rather leave standard or genuine upgrades.

Chrome is a thin electroplated metal layer on the surface of mild steel. With the heat variation of an exhaust, it will quickly tarnish and corrode through.

For longevity it must be stainless.

Does "your mate" already have twin beacons, cb aerials, led rope lights, and a nodding dog?

No nodding dog, or rope lights, yes CB but not twin twigs or beacons. But I think they are in the pipeline, I was asked due to my trade links. I don't own a 6510SE, only premiums here. (6400 and 2850)
