Civil War

I'd say the events of the past 12-24 months have me thinking that a war between countries (middle east excluded beacuse they always at it), is unlikely and that civil war is the most likely event to occur.

Not a civil war as we know it but a degredation in our civility, standards, judiciary and an increase in spot attacks. I dont believe we will be in the trenches, society will still function to a degree but the actions of politicans of years gone by along with corporations are starting to bear fruit.

Trump derangement syndrome, is not soley born from Trump - this has been breweing for sometime, and its not solely Trump thats the focus, its much wider from senates - the famous - the corporations - right down to people on the street. The gap has widened on what people expect as our wealth increased.

So i think unfortunately the best years for some western countries are gone, it will be a slow walk down deaths lane...Other nations especially alot of Asian ones will win from this.

You could argue Sth Africa is in a soft civil war now, the EU and USA and to some extent OZ are in a digital war, which when that spills into affecting the reality will start sorting the men from the boys.

To alot the will of the majority is a dream now gone, from Brexit to Trump who was duly elected by the citizens of the USA on pretty clear election promises, and you can see that absolute frenzies people have whipped themselves into over not getting there way, like a toddler in the supermarket isle.

So interesting times ahead...personally i am at peace with it as people will reap what they sow. Thats life.

Don’t worry too much about it. You’ll still be digging rocks out of the ground to keep your new Chinese masters happy.

If there is a civil war it will be in Europe, possibly Eastern Europe as the people begin to get fed up with the EU diktat and elect ever more nationalist politicians. History is repeating itself. Understandably these are people who walk by memorials to those who died resisting two tyrannical powers, they sure as hell won't be putting their heads in the noose again.

America is so polarised you can't help but feel for them. That is what happens when you play politics to the lowest common denominator.

I think western europe will be before the east...the east are elcting governments to deal with it...the west is not...

10% of the usa is polarized...the rest are earning money...two close frinds of mine who are dems are voting trump 2020...they went through 8 years of financial hell with obama and are trying to catch up so they have the funds to sent there kids to college.

The civil war will be digital and very long lasting.

People are to gutless to fight pyhsically now..its keyboard warroirs amd both sides still want there weekly paycheck.

Have you been on the kalabra wonga?

According to an old ausi beer advert, it’s Aborigine for sheep dip, but my spelling might be out:ROFLMAO:.

Should add that the reference was to Aussie home brew.

Copy, no i rarely drink these days.

The point of the thread is to give my pespective om what a civil war might look like in a western country in 2018 and beyond.

A civil war im africa will be most likely 100^%violence based...in a western nation i believe it will be 90% digitally based at maybe 10% violence.
